The Fall of Harrah

With the death of King Ivan the Third, his heir, and a large portion of his advisers and administrators, chaos has taken hold the realm. The powers of chaos have taken the reins, and plunged the lands into madness. Thanes, warlords, thieves and worse are grasping for power. Much worse. Demons thrive on disorder and chaos. Lands previously thought secure and safe, such as Harrah, have been destroyed.

Out on the far frontier of Ilvendon lies a few towns that sprouted from forts and a handful of villages linking the three towns. Thane Maxwell Fitz the Wolf of Mason's Well upon hearing about the king's fate took the opportunity to exact revenge on his contemporary Thane Walrich of the Shield. The town of Harrah was raised, but the Thane Walrich of the Shield led his band to a rally allowing many of his serf and freemen to escape the slaughter. Refugees with nothing but what they could carry fled to the Vekken Wilds; home of the Onokaga, Kayuga, Synencan, and Vlesden elves.

The chaos has taken hold of all lands within and without the boarders of Ilvendon including the savage elves of the Vekken Wilds. Where refugees are fleeing to, from the cooking pot into the fire, without even realizing it.
